Company Description Detective Sam and the Bible Time Travelers is a faith-based animated series created by Christian author Gail Morin. The show captivates young audiences with its blend of detective mystery, time travel, and Bible storytelling, immersing children in timeless lessons of faith, kindness, courage, and teamwork. Each episode, featuring original songs and engaging adventures, is designed for children aged 4–11 and is ideal for homes, schools, and churches. Through humor, music, and interactive narratives, the series aims to make faith unforgettable for the next generation. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Locust Grove, VA, for a Freelance Animator. The Animator will be responsible for designing and creating animation sequences, developing storyboards, and integrating motion graphics into episodes. Additionally, the role involves utilizing motion capture technology and collaborating with the creative team to ensure visual and narrative alignment. Delivering high-quality animations that bring the series’ characters and stories to life is a key expectation. Qualifications Proficiency in Animation and Motion Graphics, with a strong understanding of industry-standard tools and techniquesExperience in Storyboarding and creating engaging visual narrativesSkilled in Motion Capture with the ability to enhance character realismStrong Communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a creative teamAttention to detail and a passion for creating children’s content that aligns with faith-based themesBachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or related field is a plusExperience in family-friendly or educational content is highly desirableAbility to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a studio environment
