Job Description
A large software and gaming company is looking for a Gameplay Cinematographer to join a growing team. This person will be responsible for the planning and execution of shots throughout a broad range of video content. With an understanding of how to time and frame shots, youβll support our Senior Gameplay Cinematographers and editorial team in crafting high quality trailers. Using best in class tools within Unreal Engine, youβll further support the long-term development of our capture team by maintaining workflow documentation, reporting bugs and testing new tools.
In this role you will
β Work closely with the Capture Coordinators and Capture Team Leadership to capture high quality in-game shots.
β Execute your strong sense of timing, staging, and composition/layout when capturing footage.
β Monitors capture system functionality and reports outstanding bug issues to our Technical Build Producer
β Be knowledgeable and proficient in operating cameras and developer tools to create and capture high-quality cinematic media
β Maintains capture workflow documentation and process
β Utilize UE5 tools to create cinematic gameplay cameras
β Assist the Senior Gameplay Cinematographer in onboarding new team members in Unreal camera tools and best practices to maintain best-in-class capture
Required Skills & Experience
β 2-3 years experience in gameplay capture or similar role.
β Strong understanding of visual storytelling.
β Ability to effectively communicate across every level of leadership.
β Can receive and execute against constructive feedback from leads.
β Calm under pressure when working against quick timelines and changing priorities.
β Deep understanding of video game engines and camera tools. (ideally Unreal Engine)

Compensation
$45/hr to $50/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
