Graphic & Motion Designer – 12 Month Contract
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer with a passion for both print and animation? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment and possess a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a talented individual to join this vibrant, creative team in Auckland.
Role Description
This is a key senior-level role with a primary focus on developing impactful designs for external promotional campaigns, including advertising and point-of-sale materials. You will be instrumental in producing animated content for digital signage, social media, and HTML5 banners, as well as supporting TVC content when needed. The role also involves creating banners for owned digital channels and corporate support materials.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for taking projects from brief to finished art, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes while adhering to brand guidelines. We are looking for someone who can lead allocated projects, manage multiple deadlines, and consistently maintain accuracy and attention to detail. Collaboration and mentoring junior designers are also important aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and create designs for external promotional campaigns (print and animated)
Produce animated content, including digital signage, social, and HTML5 banners
Support the Motions Director with TVC content as needed
Create banners for owned digital channels (website, app, eDMs)
Produce corporate support material (reports, presentations, internal documents)
Manage projects from brief to finished art within deadlines
Utilise and follow brand guidelines for all collateral
Ensure designs deliver targeted messages and achieve strong customer engagement
Build and produce high-quality final art/animation
Lead allocated projects and manage multiple deadlines
Maintain consistent attention to detail and accuracy
Collaborate and mentor other designers
Skills and Experience
Excellent experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Cinema 4D is essential
Advanced understanding of print/animation best practices and the design process
Innovative and creative approach to design work
Strong oral and written communication skills
Comfortable in multi-tasking multiple projects
Ability to use innovative thinking to offer creative solutions
Detail-oriented
A minimum of 8-10 years of previous working experience
Highly skilled in print and animation design
Tertiary Qualification – either a diploma in Design and Digital Media or a Bachelor’s degree in Design
