The Role: As our 3D Lead, you’ll shape the physical identity of Taliara—characters, environments, props, VFX, and everything in between. You’re not just a modeler. You’re the world-builder, the pipeline-definer, the Unity wizard who brings concept art to life with clarity, style, and runtime smarts. You’ll work directly with the creative director and help direct the 3D team as we move from blockouts to beauty.

You’ll Be Responsible For: Leading the creation of stylized 3D assets—characters, creatures, and props. Defining shaders, lighting setups, and render pipeline aesthetics in Unity. Translating 2D concept art into optimized, readable, mobile-ready models. Working closely with VFX artists and animators to ensure synergy across all motion and impact. Setting up and maintaining clean, modular workflows for scale. Training/supporting junior artists or freelancers when needed. Being the visual quality gatekeeper—nothing leaves the oven until it’s crisp.

You Are: A stylized modeling and sculpting expert (ZBrush, Blender, Maya—whatever your weapon). Unity fluent—you understand URP, shader graph, LODs, and draw call sanity. Obsessed with readability, silhouettes, and polycount balance. Able to lead but also jump in hands-on—this is not a sit-back role. Familiar with mobile-specific constraints: texture memory, batching, VFX budgets. Able to give and receive feedback like a pro (ego stays at the door).

Bonus XP If You: Have shipped games in Unity (especially mobile). Know how to stylize across factions (organic, stone, arcane, etc.). Can dabble in VFX, animation, or technical art. Have a reel that makes us go “ohhh damn” in under 30 seconds. Have experience setting up Unity asset libraries, prefabs, and addressables.
