Responsibilities

ABOUT THE POSITION

Proven experience in leading a team of artists. Master the creation, editing and performance optimization of level. Plan and coordinate the creation of environment modules and materials. Supervise the creation of structure, terrain, props and their integration in the level until final polish. Collaborate with the Art Director and Level Designer to understand game intentions and vision. Perform research and create brief in collaboration with a concept artist. Integrate built assets into the game engine to set and dress a polished scene. Ensure that the artistic direction and level gameplay is respected.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience as a Level Artist on AAA quality, plus at least one significant experience as a Manager or Team lead LA. Experience in adjacent fields such as modelling, texturing, lighting or material creation. Great communication skills and the ability to positively motivate a team. Excellent knowledge of video game development process and interactions between the artistic, design and technical jobs. Mastering of art fundamentals: lighting, staging, layout, etc. Mastering and production experience of Unreal, Unity or any game engine. Ability to find solutions from a visual, production and technical perspective. Passion for pushing quality further and refining production techniques. High degree of self-motivation and initiative. At ease working in English with an international team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Curiosity, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
