Role Description
A fantastic opportunity for a highly technical, creative and hands-on Lead Environment Technical Artist ready to join this innovative interactive entertainment studio redefining what’s possible in real-time 3D gaming.
Responsibilities
With a strong blend of visual craft and deep technical expertise, you’ll take the lead in building stylised, high-performing, immersive environments in Unreal Engine 5. Working closely with the creative director, artists, and virtual production teams, you’ll own the full environment pipeline — from interpreting concepts and building custom assets to leading optimisation, shader development, and technical workflows. You’ll lead a small team of environment artists and collaborate across departments to deliver seamless performance across PC and mobile platforms.
Leadership and Development
As the lead, you’ll have input into hiring, team development and the technical direction of new IP and partnerships — all while building worlds players won’t want to leave.
Location and Benefits
This is a hybrid role based in Melbourne. Relocation support is available for interstate or international candidates.
