Motion & Social Designer

The Motion & Social Designer is responsible for developing high-quality visual and motion assets for digital and social media channels. The role requires a balance of creativity, technical proficiency, and fast execution within a high-volume retail marketing environment. The position collaborates directly with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency, timely campaign execution, and the delivery of visual assets for a broad U.S. consumer audience. Contract Type, Duration, and Location: Independent contractor, Remote, Indefinite.Talent Budget: 2500 USD - 3000 USD Responsibilities:• Conceptualize and produce motion graphics using After Effects.• Design static and animated content for social media platforms.• Translate campaign concepts into engaging visual executions.• Ensure alignment with established brand guidelines and visual standards.• Adapt creative assets across multiple formats and placements.• Collaborate directly with copywriters, designers, and stakeholders.• Manage multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines.• Participate in ideation sessions and contribute creative solutions. Technical Skills:• 2–4 years of relevant experience (Semi-Senior preferred; Junior profiles with strong portfolios may be considered).• Advanced proficiency in After Effects.• Demonstrated experience designing for social media environments.• Strong creative thinking and conceptual development skills.• Solid understanding of typography, layout, motion principles, and visual hierarchy.• Ability to maintain quality while working at speed.• C1 English proficiency required (written and verbal).• Strong proficiency in Figma.• Familiarity with project management and communication tools such as Monday and Microsoft Teams.
