ArtBlast is a daily newsletter and Discord community for game artists looking for jobs. The service is available at artblast.co and delivered via Substack. This privacy policy explains what data is collected when you subscribe and how it is used.

What Data We Collect

When you subscribe to ArtBlast, the following information is collected:

• Your email address (required to deliver the newsletter)
• Your name, if you choose to provide it
• Payment information if you subscribe to a paid plan (processed by Stripe via Substack)
• Basic usage data: which emails you open and which links you click
• Survey responses, if you voluntarily complete any surveys we send

When you visit artblast.co, standard web analytics data is collected (pages viewed, device type, approximate location, traffic source) via Google Analytics.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Deliver the daily ArtBlast newsletter to your inbox
• Send conversion emails to free subscribers and onboarding emails to paid subscribers
• Manage your subscription, billing, and cancellations
• Understand which content is useful and improve the newsletter
• Grant access to the paid Discord community

Your email address is never sold to third parties. It is never shared with advertisers.

Cookies

artblast.co uses minimal cookies: standard WordPress session cookies for logged-in admin users, and Google Analytics cookies for traffic measurement. If you are a regular visitor (not logged in), no personally identifiable cookies are set.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Unsubscribe from ArtBlast at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email
• Cancel your paid subscription at any time from your Substack account settings
• Request a copy of the personal data held about you
• Request deletion of your personal data by emailing us

For GDPR rights (EU/UK residents): you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Retention

Your email and subscription data are retained for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, Substack retains your data in accordance with their own retention policy. You can request full deletion by contacting us directly.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated in a material way, subscribers will be notified by email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
