Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Animator to join our team in a full-time, onsite capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing video content and producing visually compelling animations that support our brand and marketing objectives. This is a permanent position requiring adherence to UK working hours, with the opportunity to work on a diverse range of digital content across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging content for internal and external use. Design and animate graphics, intros/outros, explainers, and transitions. Collaborate with content creators, marketers, and other departments to produce high-quality media. Add music, dialogue, voiceovers, effects, and captions as needed. Ensure brand consistency and technical quality across all video output. Organize and maintain video libraries, project files, and backups. Optimize content for various formats and social media platforms.
Requirements
Proven experience in video editing and animation (portfolio/showreel required). Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Solid understanding of storytelling, timing, pacing, and transitions. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality visuals. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Comfortable working onsite and aligning with UK business hours. Degree or certification in visual communication design, animation, media, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of 2D/3D animation tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D). Experience with sound design and basic audio editing. Familiarity with social media video trends and specifications. Ability to create templates and reusable assets for efficiency.
