Storyboard Artist for a Cinematic Short Film (Not A Social Media Video)Artist must be based in Canada. Film DescriptionThe Road Back to You: A family’s cycle of abuse threatens to tear them apart, but when a father confronts his past and seeks redemption, he must find the courage to break the pattern and save his son from a fate he once endured. The short (15 min) drama film is based on a true story that took place in the Middle East in the 90s, so we are adapting it to a Quebec setting in the present day. Role Description We are recruiting for a grant app, so wages will be subject to grant approval. Filming is projected to be in the second half of 2026. This role is per project. If this film is not your genre, we are working on other short French films in Quebec. So if you’re available, you are welcome to apply citing this. QualificationsProficiency in Storyboarding and Drawing with a strong ability to visualize and translate scripts into sequences.Capability in creating unique and innovative Concept Art for various story elements.A degree in Art, Animation, Design, or a related field preferred.Previous experience in the film industry is an asset.
