What Rodeo FX Looks for in Your Portfolio

Based on their job descriptions and public art direction guidelines.

Film and TV VFX Reel

Rodeo works on episodic and feature content. Your reel should demonstrate breakdown shots — final, beauty pass, and technical passes — not just hero shots.

FX and Simulation Depth

Rodeo specifically lists GOLAEM crowd simulation as a skill. Houdini FX, destruction, and fluid simulations are highly valued across their pipeline.

Compositing

Nuke compositing is a consistent need. Multi-pass compositing with color grading and integration work is the relevant format for their pipeline.
