What is the average storyboard revisionist salary?

Junior revisionists earn $48K-$65K, mid-level $58K-$78K, and senior revisionists $78K-$115K in the US. Lead and supervising roles range from $100K to $150K.

What does a storyboard revisionist actually do?

They take an approved board and apply director and network notes: fixing staging, redrawing panels, correcting continuity and matching the lead artist's style. It is the most common entry point into storyboarding.

Is revisionist a junior version of storyboard artist?

It is usually the step before boarding your own sequences, but it is a craft in its own right. Studios value revisionists who can match any style quickly and take notes cleanly.

Are there remote storyboard revisionist jobs?

Yes. Boarding and revision work is often remote or freelance, particularly in television animation. ArtBlast includes work model info on every listing.
