Adobe Illustrator Technician/Operator for Digital Cutting Table at Precision Graphics Inc. – United States

Job Description Looking for a Technician/ Programmer program and operate digital cutting tables used to cut materials such as plastic film, vinyl, and printed graphics. The role involves programming machine through the creation of Adobe Illustrator files, machine setup, material and file preparation, quality control, and maintenance to ensure precise production. will train. Adobe Illustrator experience preferred. willing to train. First shift. Monday through Friday similar to machines shown in this promotional video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEZdRzPirPM ⸻ Core Responsibilities Set up and operate digital cutting systems( both knife and laser) Prepare, load and align materials on the cutting bed. Configure tools such as knives, routing bits, or oscillating cutters. Adjust parameters like cut depth, speed, and pressure. Monitor machine performance during production.  ⸻ Programming & File Preparation Import and prepare cutting files from: Adobe Illustrator CAD software RIP or workflow software Set up nesting and tool paths for efficient material usage. Verify dimensions and layouts from job tickets or CAD drawings.  ⸻ Quality Control Inspect finished parts for: dimensional accuracy edge quality alignment with printed graphics Perform test cuts and adjustments before production runs. Maintain quality standards and tolerances.  ⸻ Equipment Maintenance Perform routine maintenance: clean cutting tables change blades/tools calibrate equipment Troubleshoot machine or software issues.  ⸻ Production Workflow Work with: designers print operators finishing teams Track job progress and production logs.
