Afterburner is looking for a Senior Motion Graphic Designer who can take an idea from script to screen, owning the visual direction and delivering polished, high-quality motion work.

This role is perfect for someone who thinks in motion, has strong design fundamentals, and enjoys working closely with a Creative Director to bring product and brand stories to life.

🚀 What You’ll Own• Translate scripts into style frames, motion systems, and visual direction• Design and animate motion graphics for product films, brand videos, and launch content• Lead visual execution from concept through final delivery• Elevate UI-driven storytelling with strong composition and animation polish• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to refine ideas• Provide design feedback to other creatives when needed• Maintain clean, organized projects inside After Effects• Support pitch work and exploratory creative development• Integrate 3D elements when they enhance the story

🧠 You’re a Great Fit If You Have• 5+ years of experience in motion design or animation in a studio/agency environment• A portfolio showing strong design + strong animation• Excellent typography, layout, spacing, and hierarchy skills• Strong sense of timing, pacing, and motion rhythm• Experience working on product films, brand campaigns, or launch videos• Advanced After Effects workflow• Ability to work from loose direction and propose visual solutions• Clear communication in a remote team environment

⭐ Nice to Have• Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D tools• Background combining live action + motion graphics• Strong Illustrator or Figma skills• Editorial sense for pacing• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools
